Knight & Mathis, Inc. initially was founded in 1951 as a metal fabrication and repair shop. Due to their quality, workmanship and ingenuity they were approached by several entities to manufacture a more serviceable axial flow pump for water control and flood control needs of communities throughout Florida as well as ranchers and the rapidly growing citrus industry.

The reputation of these hard working and reliable pumps soon spread throughout the state and into many new applications. Today these fine tuned pumps are found throughout the US and internationally. K&M Stationary & Portable Pumps are now used for municipal, industrial, agriculture, aquaculture, and water cooling purposes. Many are used as flood control, seasonal on-site water storage, irrigation, site development, raw water supply, chemical pumping, recirculation, cooling systems, and emergency back up. K&M pumps are ideal for pumping very large volumes of water at medium to low heads with very little power consumption.

Knight & Mathis works with the customer to find the best and most effective means of accomplishing a particular solution whether it is pumping water or designing systems for water control, agriculture, science, aquaculture, engineering, contracting, construction, etc.
